Pumps & tanks
Pump repair and installation, float switches, tank connections and low-pressure fixes for a steady, dependable water supply.
Overview
In many buildings the pump and storage tanks are the heart of the plumbing system. When a pump fails, a float switch sticks or a tank connection leaks, the whole property feels it — from weak showers to empty taps and pumps that run until they burn out.
We service and repair surface and submersible pumps, replace worn components, fit and adjust float switches and automatic controllers, and repair or replace tank inlet, outlet and overflow connections. Where pressure is low, we test each part of the system to find the true bottleneck.
For new installations we help you choose a pump that matches your building height, tank size and daily demand, and install it with proper valves and protection.

Our process
Every visit follows the same clear sequence, so you always know what is happening and why.
01
We check the pump, controls, tanks, valves and pipework to see how water moves through the building.
02
Electrical supply, pump performance, float switches and non-return valves are tested.
03
Faulty components are repaired or replaced, or a correctly sized new pump is installed.
04
We run full fill-and-draw cycles to confirm automatic operation and steady pressure.
Questions
Common causes are a faulty float switch, a leak somewhere in the system, a failed non-return valve or a pump that has lost its prime. We test each one to find the actual cause.
It depends on building height, the distance to the tank, pipe size and how much water is used each day. We calculate this during the survey rather than guessing.
Often, yes. Blocked filters, partly closed valves, air locks and undersized pipes are frequent culprits. A new pump is only recommended when the existing one cannot do the job.
Our focus is the plumbing — connections, valves, pumps and controls. We can advise on tank cleaning and coordinate the plumbing side of it.
