Refund & Cancellation Policy

How cancellations, rescheduling, re-work and refunds are handled for Dripfix HUB plumbing services.

1. Our approach

We want every customer to be satisfied with the work we do. Because plumbing is a service carried out at your property, our policy focuses on putting things right quickly and fairly. This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and re-work are handled.

2. Cancelling or rescheduling a visit

  • You can cancel or reschedule a booked visit free of charge by calling or emailing us before the plumber sets out for your appointment.
  • If you cancel after the plumber is already on the way, or nobody is available to give access at the agreed time, a call-out charge may apply. We will tell you about any such charge when you book.
  • If we need to reschedule because of an emergency or unforeseen delay, we will contact you as early as possible and agree a new time at no cost to you.

3. Cancelling approved work

If you cancel after approving a quote but before work begins, there is no charge for labour. If we have already ordered special parts for your job that cannot be returned to the supplier, you may be asked to pay for those parts, which will then be handed over to you.

For larger projects with a deposit, any deposit not used for non-returnable parts or work already completed will be refunded.

4. Workmanship re-work

If a repair or installation we completed fails because of our workmanship, contact us promptly. We will inspect it and, if the fault is due to our work, return to correct it at no additional labour cost. Re-work is our first remedy because it fixes the problem at its source.

5. When refunds apply

A full or partial refund may be offered where:

  • we were unable to complete the agreed work and the job cannot reasonably be finished;
  • re-work has not resolved a fault caused by our workmanship;
  • you were charged more than the price you approved;
  • a deposit was paid for work that will no longer go ahead (minus any non-returnable parts).

6. What is not covered

  • Diagnosis and labour already carried out at your request, where the work was completed as agreed.
  • Faults caused by misuse, accidental damage, freezing, blockages caused by inappropriate items, or later work by others.
  • Pre-existing problems in pipework or fixtures that were not part of the agreed job.
  • Parts and appliances covered by a manufacturer’s warranty — we will help you make a claim with the supplier where possible.

7. How to request a refund or re-work

Contact us by phone or email with your name, the address of the job, the date of the visit and a short description of the issue. Photos are helpful. We aim to respond within two working days and to arrange any inspection promptly.

8. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are paid using the original payment method where possible, or by bank transfer or mobile banking if the original method is not available. We aim to process approved refunds within seven working days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Please also read our Terms & Conditions.
