Pipework
New water supply and drainage pipework for renovations, extensions and ageing systems — planned, installed and pressure-tested.
Overview
Old galvanised iron lines corrode from the inside, reducing pressure and discolouring water. Renovations move kitchens and bathrooms to new positions. Extensions need new supply and drainage runs. In each case, good pipework starts with planning — not with cutting into walls.
We map the existing system, agree the routes with you, and recommend suitable materials for each line: PPR or CPVC for hot and cold supply, uPVC for drainage, and proper transitions where new pipe meets old. Isolation valves are added at sensible points so future repairs do not mean shutting off the whole building.
Every new section is pressure-tested before walls or floors are closed, and we leave you with a simple record of where the main lines and valves run.

Our process
Every visit follows the same clear sequence, so you always know what is happening and why.
01
We inspect the existing system and plan routes, pipe sizes, materials and valve positions with you.
02
Chasing, drilling and access are kept as tidy as possible, with furniture and floors protected.
03
New lines are installed with correct supports and fall, then connected to fixtures and supply.
04
The whole system is pressure-tested before close-up, and you receive a simple route record.

Questions
A single bathroom or kitchen typically takes one to three days. A full house depends on size and access; we will give you a realistic schedule with the quote.
For most hot and cold supply lines, PPR is durable and reliable. uPVC is the usual choice for drainage. We recommend materials based on temperature, pressure and the existing system.
Usually, yes. We plan the work in stages so water is only off for limited periods, and we tell you in advance when each shut-off will happen.
Yes. We are happy to coordinate with your contractor so plumbing is installed and tested at the right stage, before tiling or plastering.
